Papaful Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 28, 2026
Papaful is a small, invite-only community app for dads to meet up in person and build community online. We collect the minimum we need to run the service, and nothing else. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you can delete it.
What we collect
Account info: your phone number (used to sign you in).
Profile: your display name, profile photo, an optional short "about your kids" note, and your neighborhood.
Content you create: meetups you host (title, description, location text, date/time), your RSVPs to meetups, and "Out Now" posts.
Safety signals: reports and blocks you submit, so we can keep the community safe.
We do not collect precise device GPS location, contacts, advertising identifiers, or analytics/tracking data. Location in the app is free-text you type yourself (e.g. "Mosswood Park ยท main lawn").
How we use it
We use your information solely to provide the service: to authenticate you, show your profile to other members in your neighborhood, let you host and join meetups, and to act on safety reports. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers or third parties for marketing.
Where it's stored
Your data is stored with our database provider, Supabase, on servers in the United States. Access is restricted by row-level security so members only see what they're permitted to see.
How to delete your data
You can permanently delete your account at any time from inside the app: You โ Delete my account. This immediately and permanently removes your profile, your meetups, your RSVPs, and your Out Now posts. This action cannot be undone.
Children
Papaful is intended for adults (parents and caregivers) only. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top and notify members in the app.
